Counseling and Energy Therapy
My own issues of eating and healing give me the ability to speak from the authority and wisdom of personal experience. From traumatic childhood issues that resulted in a deeply rooted sense of lack and resentment, my life challenges continued with helping with my mother's fifteen-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease, my husband's twenty-two-year battle with heart disease and the loss of my home through fire. My own struggle with health issues and my eventual healing from mercury toxicity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, MARS (Multiple Allergic Response Syndrome) and their related symptoms have become blessings that now enhance my ability to treat the distress of others. I offer counseling on stress reduction, food and health issues, life purpose and self-love - the vital sense of knowing who you are and feeling at peace with yourself.
As a wholistic minister and energy therapist my purpose is to empower, enlighten and inspire you by helping you learn to:
- Curb food cravings and inappropriate eating habits
- Care for yourself more compassionately
- Relieve the stress that causes cravings and health problems
- Live in fuller awareness and better understanding of your relationship to Nature and Source (God, Divine Feminine, Universal/Cosmic Energy….or whatever you may call it)
- Discover your true self-worth
- Reconnect with your divine feminine nature (this includes men)
- Develop your Soul Power - your inner wisdom, integrity and creativity
- Attain better health on all levels - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual

Energy Therapy
During an energy treatment session, the recipient is fully dressed and seated in a chair (or lying on a therapy table) while I gently channel the vibrations of light and love through my hands. The client will experience a comforting warmth that will gently flow to where it is most needed, relaxing, nurturing and rejuvenating the whole body. This feeling will normally stay with the client for three-to-seven days.
Energy therapy may be given with hands on or off the body (two or more inches).
A typical session lasts 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Half-hour sessions are also available, schedule permitting.
Absentee or Distance Healing - even across the world - is also available. Please inquire.
A Combination of Counseling and Energy Therapy Sessions are often recommended.
Clients are asked to bring a journal to record their experiences.
I am certified in Pranic, Omega, Reiki and Magnified Healing and have studied with master teachers of other therapeutic touch modalities.

Food Cravings and Stress Relief
Food cravings are part of a cycle of stress that is fed by today's typically stressful diets. You will be given a self-evaluation quiz, learn why you eat or perform less well than you would like, and learn heart-centered tools to help you transform "codependence" (focusing on "the other", person, place or thing rather than on your own needs and desires). You may also be given a health-appraisal questionnaire for possible low neurotransmitter-levels (mood-lifting body chemicals), candida albicans and "leaky gut" (the latter can inhibit production of seratonin, an important neurotransmitter that effects the others.)
Note: If you feel somehow disconnected, low on energy, frazzled and consume large amounts of comfort foods (such as bread, pizza and other baked goods, dairy products or salty crunchy foods) or stimulants such as chocolate, coffee or other caffeinated food or beverages, you are ironically fueling the cycle of stress that you are trying to alleviate.

Creating Open Dialogue: Communication and Self Expression (beginning in autumn, 2004)
How well do you communicate your feelings and/or needs - including the deepest and most intimate ones? If, like most people, you don't do it well, this workshop is for YOU. "Creating Open Dialogue" will help you learn to:
- Communicate from your heart
- Speak the Truth (that which is unarguable)
- Consciously Listen
- Consciously Respond
- Consciously Dialogue
- Increase your Communication through Conscious Language
- Resolve Conflicts and "Fight" Fairly

Do-IN Self Massage
Based on the principles of acupuncture, Do-IN is an ancient Asian method of self massage that gives a simple, safe and easy energy break that quickly relaxes and recharges the physical system - personal and corporate. It is a nurturing massage method that produces harmonious movement and comprehensive well being throughout your whole body. Learn to use your hands and fingers to release toxins and hardness of your tissues and muscles, stimulate your organs directly or indirectly and activate your body's energy flow. In a nurturing series of exercises, you will not only increase your circulation, stamina, flexibility and immune system; you will also reduce and/or relieve stress, anxiety, depression, pain, colds and viruses. The practice of Do-IN enhances health on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. (See my article on Do-In.)

Basic Meditation-Practice Techniques
Excessive mind chatter is a reason to learn meditation, not to avoid it. You don't have to be a Buddhist nor you do have to sit for a long periods of time in an uncomfortable position to practice meditation. There are many simple techniques to train your restless puppy mind to stay seated on the rug, enabling you to bring your mind-body to a restful state which will remove stress and anxiety, heighten awareness and creativity and connect with your Heart center. Daily meditation practice will ultimately bring you rich rewards of balance, harmony, contentment and peace - a place to just "be" whenever you need or desire a respite. Guided meditations are another effective and relaxing way to take your mind off its limiting fears and anxieties.
Note: Agni Dhatu is an especially effective energy treatment that energizes and increases powers of concentration and meditation and may be especially helpful for some clients.

Learning to Trust Your Own Inner Wisdom
Our bodies can speak their own language and we can learn to listen. Learn to surrender to your own inner guidance through movement and peaceful awareness of all your body's signals. You may end up laughing, crying, dancing in circles and/or standing on your head.
Dream Analysis
Dream analysis is an excellent way of tapping into your inner wisdom. It can provide insight and guidance on many life situations, including health, behavior, relationships and even your life purpose. I can help you learn the basics of catching, recalling and interpreting your dreams on your own as well as to help with their analysis. Ignoring your dreams can lead to nightmares - while asleep or awake - so decoding them can be good preventative maintenance.
